How We Can Win | Kimberly Jones

During the Black Lives Matter protests following George Floyd's murder, Kimberly Jones went viral in a video where she explained why Black people would riot and loot in these circumstances. It got her a bookdeal (she wrote Young Adult fiction before) and How We Can Win is the result. Mixing personal anecdotes with instructive essays, the book is interesting both to understand how Afro-Americans got to be in the place they are and how they can get out of it. While a lot of things are not one on one applicable in the European situation, it is a great read for anyone interested in activism and justice.
